Get on the water without owning a boat
The Flying Bridge Boat Club is a members-only community with a fleet of boats at Falmouth, Harbor Lights and Sanibel. Members book morning or afternoon sessions through the member portal, and the dock team has the boat fueled, cleaned and ready.
There is no boat to pay off, store or maintain. Monthly dues cover boating, maintenance, insurance and docking, with fuel billed separately, and membership brings club events, cruises and training along with the boats.
What a year costs
Every term has the same monthly dues, and the longer the term, the less a year costs.

Yearly figures are twelve months of dues ($4,800) plus the initiation fee spread across the term.
Dues are billed in advance. None of these figures include fuel.

Membership includes club events, cruises and training programs, from safety courses to navigation workshops, and time on and off the water with fellow members.

Questions
What do the monthly dues cover?
Standard boating use, maintenance, insurance and docking, plus club events, cruises and training programs. Dues are billed in advance.
How is fuel billed?
Separately, once a month, for the reservations you made the month before. You can pay by check, ACH or card; an invoice still unpaid after 10 days is charged to the payment method on file.
How do reservations work?
Each day has two sessions: morning, 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and afternoon, 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM. You can hold up to four reservations at a time, booked first come, first served through the member portal. Cancel any time and the slot is freed straight away.
Can I go out when a boat is free?
Yes. When a boat is unreserved you can ask for a complimentary free day up to three days ahead, with at least 24 hours' notice. Free days don't count toward your four reservations.
Can I bring guests?
Yes, up to the boat's capacity, with children counted as a full person. The member who checks out the boat is responsible for everyone aboard, and a guest may only drive if they hold a valid boating safety certificate.
Do I need boating experience?
Every member completes the club's orientation and safety training. In Florida, anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 must also pass a boating safety course and carry their Boating Safety Education ID card.
What happens if the weather turns?
The dock team texts you the day before if bad weather is coming, and the club may postpone a reservation for safety. Boats don't launch in winds of 14 mph or more, within 20 minutes of thunder or lightning, in whitecaps or in poor visibility.
Can I change my term later?
The one-year initiation fee is credited toward a five-year membership if you upgrade.
