Performance & Systems
Quad Mercury V10 425 outboards with joystick control and a custom Mohawk paint scheme, backed by a Seakeeper Model 4 for stability, 12v bow thruster, and a stainless windlass with 35 lb plow anchor. The hull is hand-laid solid bottom with vinyl ester resin and Kevlar reinforcement, and helm air conditioning has been redirected from the head to the helm vents for the driver's comfort.
Electronics
Upgraded Garmin triple-screen helm with two 12-inch outer displays and a 19-inch center screen, GSD 28 sonar and dual 1kW Airmar B175H hi/low chirp transducers. She also carries Garmin xHD3 4-foot 4kW open array radar (painted to match), autopilot, VHF, Garmin AIS with transmit silence switch, and a painted spotlight with dash-mounted control. Audio is a Garmin Fusion Apollo head unit driving an upgraded JL Audio Luxe flush-mount system with four 10-inch subwoofers.
Fishability
Dual 45-gallon pressurized transom baitwells with a high-volume sea chest and livewell windows, insulated port and starboard fish boxes with overboard pumps, a center transom seat with its own 25-gallon baitwell and port-side walkthrough door, twelve forward gunwale rod holders, four extra aft transom holders for a total of seven, four electric reel outlets, and a starboard dive door with heavy-duty ladder.
Comfort & Entertaining
HCB helm seats with high-gloss teak ladder backs, arm rests and foot rests, U-shaped bow seating with removable lumbar backrests and a power-lift fiberglass bow table, second-row sleigh seat, and a contoured console-front lounger. The summer kitchen has a Corian counter, sink, 12v stainless refrigerator and removable stainless grill, with Frigid Rigid 42QT gunwale coolers, 28QT transom cooler seats, an aft wind screen, double-diamond stitching on bolsters and inserts, and Kahlenberg dual air horns painted to match.
Cabin
An enclosed head with ceramic macerating electric flush toilet plus the custom rainfall shower and fold-down seat, a galley with sink and 12v refrigerator, a settee table seating five that converts to a berth for two, 24-inch television, padded wall and ceiling covering with skylight and five port lights, walnut high-gloss cabinetry, Limestone counters and Platinum Gray/White Lines flooring.
Whisper Gray inside and out, Seakeeper-stabilized, and customized with a rainfall shower system you won't find on another 42.
