Flying Bridge Expands Its HCB Territory Across West Florida

HCB 48 Campeón

Flying Bridge Marina now represents HCB Yachts along Florida's Gulf Coast from Tampa to Naples. The territory covers Tampa, Sarasota, Sanibel, Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Naples and Marco Island, and it joins the New England territory Flying Bridge has served for HCB for the past four years.

Many HCB owners split the year between the Northeast and Southwest Florida. They now have one dealer at both ends of the season. The team that sells, commissions and services an HCB in Falmouth or Warwick can support the same boat in Sanibel or Naples.

Four years of HCB in New England

This year alone, the Flying Bridge team showed HCB at the New England Boat Show in Boston, the Rhode Island Boat Show in Providence and the Newport International Boat Show. New HCB yachts in Flying Bridge inventory today include the 42 Lujo, the 48 Campeón and the 56 Sueños.

That experience comes south with the expansion. Buyers in West Florida work with a team that already knows how these yachts are ordered, rigged, delivered and maintained.

What HCB builds

HCB Yachts builds center console yachts from 39 to 65 feet at its factory in Vonore, Tennessee. The company began as Hydra-Sports, a fishing boat builder, and took the HCB name in 2018. Its six models are the 39 Speciale, 42 Lujo, 48 Campeón, 53 Sueños RXV, 56 Sueños GIX and 65 Estrella. Each runs on four, five or six outboards of up to 600 hp apiece.

A yacht built around the center console

A traditional sportfishing yacht uses inboard diesels and an enclosed cabin. HCB kept the open center console layout and outboard power, then built it to yacht size and finish: a cabin with a master stateroom, custom cabinetry, stabilization and a generator. The goal was a yacht with the performance, ride and simpler upkeep of a center console, without giving up comfort.

When HCB introduced the 65 Estrella in 2018, the company announced it as the world's largest center console yacht, a title previously held by its own 53 Sueños.

HCB also changed how these boats are bought. Through its Crucero program, each owner configures the yacht with HCB's engineers, is invited to the factory to see it built, and receives a delivery plan with hands-on training from HCB's service team. HCB spends at least a day with each new owner at delivery.

Sea trials in Florida and New England

Flying Bridge arranges HCB sea trials by appointment. Buyers in West Florida and New England can see the lineup with our team, then run the model that fits them on open water.
