About the 39' Open Fisherman
The 39' Open Fisherman is a monohull center console that Invincible calls "our most popular model" and "a serious boat for serious anglers." The builder pitches it at the tournament angler who needs ride, range, speed and comfort, and says it is as comfortable on a family trip to the Bahamas as it is chasing sailfish in the Gulf Stream.
It has a 24.5-degree deadrise at the transom, and Invincible states a 500-plus nautical mile range. Invincible lists a maximum of 1,800 HP and offers triple or quad rigs: Mercury V10s at 350, 400 or 425 HP and Mercury 300 V8s in either count, plus triple Yamaha 350 V6s. With triple Mercury 400 V10s, Invincible records a typical cruise of 47.5 mph at 1.03 mpg in standardized testing.
The single-level deck has 360-degree walk-around fishability, and the console has a fully lined interior with room for a full-sized head. Above and below deck livewells, forward side storage, under deck storage, an insulated fish box and K Plane style trim tabs are standard. Options include a coffin box with an electric ram lift and flat transom seating. The hull is vacuum-bagged cored construction in 100% vinylester resin.
