About the 40' Catamaran
The 40' Catamaran is a quad-outboard center console for anglers who want long range and a stable platform offshore. Invincible calls it "a proven sport fishing machine" and credits its speed and efficiency to a patented semi-asymmetrical and ventilated hull designed by Morrelli and Melvin Naval Design and Engineering, developed with the help of Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations.
Invincible states a 750-plus nautical mile range. It is built for up to 1,700 HP, with quad Mercury V10s at 350, 400 or 425 HP, quad Mercury 300 V8s or quad Yamaha 350 V6s, and Invincible records a typical cruise of 43.2 mph at 0.92 mpg with quad Mercury 400 V10s under standardized testing.
The layout gives 360-degree walk-around fishability, with a flat transom and an optional side dive door. Standard equipment includes above and below deck livewells, a built-in anchor locker, under deck storage, a finished bilge, saltwater washdown and four automatic 2,000 GPH bilge pumps. The hull is vacuum-bagged cored construction in 100% vinylester resin with 316 stainless-steel hardware. Invincible says the result is a boat that "runs hard, turns fast, and is incredibly stable."
To see how the 40' Catamaran runs, ask Flying Bridge about a sea trial at one of its locations in New England or Southwest Florida. As an Invincible Factory Direct Partner, Flying Bridge handles the build and later service through one relationship with the factory.
