About the 36 Offshore
Yellowfin calls the 36 Offshore its "perennial flagship model," and it is built to suit everything from hard-core tournament fishing to weekend family outings. It runs on twin or triple outboards, with a maximum of 1,275 HP on triples.
The builder credits its twin-step hull and what it calls a "near perfect blend of balance and efficiency" for the way the 36 handles a chop offshore, and says it keeps the crew dry. The boat can be highly customized, with options such as a Seakeeper 2 gyro, two leaning post designs, a coffin box and a sub-console head.
Standard equipment includes a Seakeeper Ride 600, a hardtop with five rod holders on the frame, a dive door, forward lounger seating, 14 Gemlux rod holders, a plumbed livewell in the transom with a second in the leaning post, and an insulated fish box with a gulper pump. An AmeraTrail aluminum trailer with electric-over-hydraulic braking is also standard.
You can see a 36 Offshore through Flying Bridge Marina at Falmouth or Sanibel, where sea trials and sales are handled as a Yellowfin Factory Direct Partner. Trade-ins are valued through the Sell or Trade service.
