About the Ultra 229
The Ultra 229 sits between the Ultra 219 and the Ultra 234 in Sea Hunt's Ultra series, and it shares the 250 HP maximum of the Ultra 234 and Ultra 235SE. Standard power is a Yamaha F150 XC, with a Yamaha F200XC or a Yamaha F250XSB2 offered as options, so buyers can choose among three outboards.
Standard equipment includes an aluminum leaning post with captains chairs, Yamaha hydraulic steering, a single 9-inch Garmin GPSMAP 943xs package with VHF, Yamaha Digital Command Link gauges, a waterproof stereo with Bluetooth and a wireless phone charger. Bow backrests, bow bolsters, bow cushions and cockpit bolsters are standard, along with 110-quart and 70-quart bow storage compartments, 48 quarts of front console storage, bucket storage and a 15-gallon livewell.
The options list covers a fiberglass T-top, a Deluxe D tubing T-top or a Bimini top, an Ultra bait tank leaning post, a 12-inch Garmin GPSMAP 1243xsv package, Bennett trim tabs, a freshwater system and a ski tow bar. It suits families looking for a smaller center console they can equip to suit. Flying Bridge Marina sells Sea Hunt at its locations in New England and Southwest Florida and can arrange a sea trial.
