About the Ultra 285SL

The Ultra 285SL is the Ultra 285 with a sun lounge layout in the bow. Its standard storage list shows a 320-quart sun lounge storage compartment and port and starboard fish boxes of 200 quarts each, and it adds a 15-gallon pitch bait livewell to the 40-gallon mezzanine livewell found on both 285 models. The Ultra 285SE has bow cushions, a backrest and a telescoping bow table in that space instead.

The two 285s share their published length, beam, fuel capacity and dry weight, along with a 600 HP maximum. The 285SL comes with twin Yamaha F300 XSB2 outboards, Yamaha electric steering, a mezzanine fiberglass leaning post with captains chairs and a dual 17-inch Garmin 9217xsv package with VHF and Yamaha autopilot. A fiberglass T-top with a mister system, dual side entry doors, a china toilet and a windlass anchor are standard, and Sea Hunt offers the Ultra Entertainment Leaning Post and Yamaha Helm Master with Setpoint as options.
