About the Calypso 28

The Calypso 28 is the entry point to the Chris-Craft Calypso dual console range, below the Calypso 32 and 35. Chris-Craft says it "offers ample space and all the essential amenities" for hosting, and it suits owners who want dual console comfort without moving up to the 32 or 35.

Power is twin Mercury Verado 225 or 300 HP outboards with joystick piloting and electric steering, for a maximum of 600 HP.

The layout centers on flexible seating. U-shaped bow seating has forward-facing sunloungers with USB charging ports. The port helm seat has a convertible backrest that faces aft toward an optional teak table, and it also adjusts into a forward-facing lounger or a flat bench. The helm has a flush-mounted Garmin display and a teak steering wheel under a curved glass windshield, and there is a hidden head. A starboard side-boarding door and an extended swim platform are standard, and the cockpit galley comes with either a refrigerator or a pull-out YETI cooler.

Buyers can choose the Heritage Edition for teak covering boards, swim platform and a full teak floor. Flying Bridge Marina sells Chris-Craft and can arrange a Calypso 28 sea trial in New England or Southwest Florida.
