About the Launch 28 GT

The Launch 28 GT is the entry point to the Chris-Craft Launch GT bowrider series. Chris-Craft describes it as "watersports-friendly, fast, and stunning," and it suits owners who split their time between cruising and towing.

Power comes three ways. The sterndrive version takes a single Mercury V8 or Volvo V8 engine from 350 to 430 HP. The outboard version takes a single Mercury Verado V10 at 380 or 400 HP and adds storage beneath the aft sunpad. A Wake Surf Edition uses a Volvo Penta Forward Drive with a ballast system and surf tabs. Chris-Craft states a 430 HP maximum for each version, and Seakeeper Ride is standard on the sterndrive and outboard models.

There are three top options: a bimini, a GT power-folding top or a custom-painted GT hardtop. The bow has forward-facing loungers with fold-up armrests and in-floor storage lockers, the aft sunpad converts to a bench or stern-facing lounger, and a transom walk-through leads to the swim platform. The portside head has full seated headroom and a cold-water sink.

Flying Bridge Marina sells Chris-Craft through its locations in New England and Southwest Florida, where a Launch 28 GT sea trial can be arranged.
