About the Launch 31 GT

The Launch 31 GT is the middle model in the Chris-Craft Launch GT bowrider series. Chris-Craft says it is "designed to be your family's entertainment center on the water," and it suits families who host often and want a bowrider with a full head and a galley option.

The builder offers it with sterndrive or outboard power. The sterndrive version pairs twin Mercury V8 or Volvo V8 engines from 350 to 430 HP each with joystick control, for a stated maximum of 860 HP. The outboard version runs twin Mercury Verado 300 HP outboards, for a stated maximum of 600 HP. A Surf version uses twin Volvo V8-CE forward drives, and Seakeeper Ride is standard on the sterndrive and outboard models.

The builder's feature list for the 31 GT centers on entertaining. The Lumishore LUX LED lighting system lets the helm pick any color and set the lights to respond to music. An optional refreshment center by the starboard side-boarding door adds a sink, refrigerator and grill, and a teak cockpit table is standard. The head has a porcelain toilet with dockside pumpout and can take an optional air conditioner.
