About the Catalina 31
The Catalina 31 is the larger of the two boats in Chris-Craft's center console range, and the builder fits it with a berth and head for overnight trips. It suits owners who want a center console that works for both entertaining and fishing, with room to stay out past sunset.
Chris-Craft rates it for a persons capacity of 12. Power is twin Mercury Verado outboards: V8 300s, or V10 350s or 400s, for a stated maximum of 800 HP. Active Trim is standard.
Its main point of difference is the helm area. Dual captain's chairs with teak and stainless steel accents are standard, and buyers choose between a high-gloss teak table for entertaining or a live well with an adjacent sink for fishing, both with a slide-out refrigerator. Seakeeper Ride, a vessel attitude control system, is standard on this model. The aft cockpit seats fold away, and there are in-floor storage hatches, a large sun pad and dual wireless phone chargers.
