The Launch 35 GT sits above the 28 GT and 31 GT in the Launch GT bowrider series, and Chris-Craft calls it "the flagship of its series." It suits boaters who want a bowrider for big day crowds that can also handle a weekend away, since the builder's photos show a double berth and a Tecma head with a porcelain sink below.

Chris-Craft offers it with sterndrive or outboard power, and the two versions differ in horsepower. The sterndrive boat carries twin Mercury V8 or Volvo V8 engines from 350 to 430 HP each with Axius or EVC joystick control, for a stated maximum of 860 HP. The outboard boat takes twin Mercury Verado V10 350 or 400 HP outboards, for a stated maximum of 800 HP. A Surf version pairs twin Volvo V8-CE forward drives with the sterndrive hull.

The builder's photos show wraparound bow seating with a forward-facing lounger, a wide captain's seat with flip-up bolsters, flush-mounted Garmin displays, a starboard side-boarding door with ladder, and a hardtop with a motorized sun shade that extends aft. A cockpit galley with sink, refrigerator and storage, with or without a grill, is offered.
