About the Launch 27

The Launch 27 is the model in Chris-Craft's "Classic Open Bow Range." Chris-Craft says it has been in the lineup "for more than two decades," and it suits buyers who want traditional Chris-Craft lines with an open bow for passengers.

Engine choices are Mercury V8 6.2L or 8.2L engines from 300 to 430 HP, or Volvo V8-CE engines over the same range, for a 430 HP maximum. The 300 HP Mercury is the standard engine.

The current version has redesigned helm seats with wider seating and backrest surfaces and an integrated stainless steel grab point. Both helm seats swivel to face the aft cockpit for a more social layout. A concealed Bimini top that tucks away is standard, and a power Bimini that deploys at the push of a button is optional. The helm runs a custom Chris-Craft user interface with an optional port side Garmin display, the bow can take a teak table, and the Heritage Edition adds a full teak floor.

Flying Bridge Marina arranges Chris-Craft sea trials and sales through its locations in New England and Southwest Florida. A trade-in can be valued through Flying Bridge's Sell or Trade service.
